Reverend Gretchen van Aken Johnson is a United Methodist Minister. She retired in June of 2002. She is an Elder in the
United Methodist Church in the New York Annual Conference.
She is now developing her one-woman show, entitled Called Girl, which will recall her life from her childhood in a funeral home, through her Broadway career, to her life in the ministry.
